We are delighted to present the work of acclaimed painter, Sara Conca, whose dynamic yet sensual artworks express the mysticism of movement and the fresh take on emotional color through the language of her unique artistic process. Drawing on her training in Paris and NYC, her work in the fashion industry and the social anthropology of training in Paris, Conca creates iconoclastic concepts realized in her unique works and that question our relationship between abstraction and representation. Her natural mixed media masterpieces in this new 2021 Collection are expressive: mystical, aquatic…, and built from raw silver dust and 18k gold leafing, raw color pigments, mica flakes, and natural crystals.

Enigmatic – but never obscure, they are representative of the passion, the love, and the beauty the artist finds in humanity, spirituality, and the creative process.

Ms. Conca arrived at this instinctual painting style through the awareness of her senses, yes: but with a significant nod to her lineage.  Sebastiano Conca (b. 1680, d. 1764), whose work is on permanent exhibition at the Louvre, The Getty and in venerable museum Collections throughout the world is no doubt a genetic influencer and it is with this provenance she has become a highly regarded artistic force.
