Megan Pearce Guidry is a self-taught abstract artist influenced by her love of travel and Louisiana landscapes. Creating neutral abstracts with hints of color is her favorite way to express her creativity. She thinks that incorporating texture, structure, shapes, and hues into her paintings make them unique and interesting. Her passion for painting began in her high school art classes. In college she was able to take art classes where she learned about art history and color theory while pursuing a degree in Speech-Language Pathology. After college, painting became a hobby and grew into painting for family and friends. She is enjoying the journey of evolving as an artist.
